Sugar coated tablets Thiamazole tablets, 2.5mg pink tablets and 5mg orange tablets. Used in both the stabilization of feline hyperthyroidism prior to surgical thyroidectomy and for the long-term treatment of feline hyperthyroidism. The purpose of the drug is control excessive production of thyroid hormones.
Available in 200 microgram and 400 microgram levothyroxine sodium tablets, Forthyron is used in the treatment of hypothyroidism in dogs. Levothyroxine sodium is a synthetic product chemically identical to the naturally occurring hormone T4 and it is used to replace the deficient hormone in affected dogs.
